I simply disagree that the lack of a coding language is such a big issue. It is possible to make platformers in RM2K (without a coding language) and it will probably be possible to make RPGs in AGM (coding language or not), you just need to learn how to manipulate the system properly.
One might argue that 'manipulating the system' is a waste of time. If you're not going to use the maker/engine to make the kind of game it was intended for, than there is no good reason to use that particular maker/engine at all. It will also take much longer and will probably not perform as well as it would if you used something more suitable to make the game.

Peoples quit fighting and go make a game in Java or C++ or somethings. I must say that AGM does look like it is going to have a large output of mainly cookie cutter games though.

Why has the order of comments on game pages been changed from newest to oldest to oldest to newest? I liked it the other way, with the newest comments at the top of the page.
